I am Sophie Rae, Registered Nurse and Independent Prescriber. Here is the back story to my creation of Sophie Rae.
In 2004, I was offered a place at The London College of Fashion, to study Fashion Design BA (Hons), following an interview and presentation of my drawings. At the last minute, I decided not to go. Instead, I left behind my creative side and I pursued a career which brought me greater job satisfaction-and in 2008 I qualified as a nurse.
My first role as a nurse was within the community setting, where I managed patients with long term conditions. Before moving into the specialist role of Respiratory Nurse in 2013. In 2016, I completed my post-grad degree. In 2017, I moved into General Practice. In 2019, I completed my Masters course to become an Independent Prescriber and also completed various aesthetic courses. And this is how my original company Harlowes was created in 2019. Harlowes also offered various nails and beauty treatments and over the years this side of the business grew so much it became its own separate business within its own right. So we made the decision to divide the two businesses, allowing Sophie Rae Medical to pursue its medical pathway and Harlowes to continue its beauty pathway.
Luckily, Harlowes is only next door to us so you are still able to pop in there for your nail and beauty treatments!
When it comes to aesthetic enhancements, I adore being creative and combining it with my years of medical experience. My favourite treatment is dermal fillers. Whether it is reshaping your lips, rejuvenating your face or balancing your profile, all my treatments are personalised specifically to you. I generate natural and normal results, which are in line with your own features.
I have a team of incredible Registered Nurses and Skin Therapists who are just as passionate as me when it comes to skin and effective, yet, safe treatments. We never stop learning and we keep updated with the latest research and training by attending multiple courses and conferences each year. We ensure we provide the best possible treatments and techniques to our patients.
